Documenting a moment of time and making an image of something that has emotionally moved me, has been a passion of mine for over 30 years. I’ve been blessed with being at the right location at the right moment but often I find myself seeing images throughout my day. Pre-visualization of a scene has been instrumental to the process of creating many of my images. This along with the techniques, style and teachings of some of the masters behind the lens such as Galen Rowell, David Muench and of course Ansel Adams, have and will continue to shape my work and inspire me.

Missions and personal travels have given me the opportunity to adventure to many locations with many more stories behind the images too. I hope you enjoy viewing these images as much as I did making them.

Recreating what I observe at a moment in time is extremely important to me, such that I only use methods of developing an image similar to a film darkroom. Constructing images with elements that were not present upon capture is a completely different art form, separate from photography the way I perform it.
